Religion.

CAUTION RANT POST:

 So I came upon something today that completely set me off. I understand that there are people out there are atheist and irreligious, but it's a bit irritating when they insult my religion, because to me God is not ridiculous. So let me break down the post into sections and/or points.

1 God is not responsible for war. WE cause war because our race can tend to be a bit power hungry. Wars caused by religion were not caused by God. That's plain ridiculous. If this person knew ANYTHING about the Christian/Jewish/Morman Religions, it would be that God gives us choices. He does not directly control our movements because we have to EARN our way into his house. There was never a time when God was like "I SAY TO START A WAR". NOOO. Never happened. And actually if this person wants to bring history into the picture and how the Protestant religion was forced among Europe, they would need to look at the church. The church back when the Roman Empire was thriving was a bit panicky and chose to be blinded. Instead of actually following the rule not to believe false idols, they decided that the Pope was the only person God could speak to. He was the one that all the people in the church followed. When the Pope gained all that power, he decided that anyone or anything that got in the way of his beliefs would punished. The Pope was unaware that he was doing wrong, because he thought everything he was doing was right. Which he wasn't. In the Bible or most other Protestant related religion books, it states that when converting or trying to spread the religion, to be peaceful about it. Not shove it in the person's face or cause violence. The Pope and Church at the time were ignorant and blinded.

And finally 2 What's so great about religion? Hmmmm, Well let's see shall we? 

What's so great with believing nothing happens to you after you die? Or that you are completely alone in the world with no hope or faith. In my opinion atheists or nonreligious people are just hurt and lost people looking for something to blame their problems on. I have been through some crazy crap in my life and I will not stand and watch whiny little people with huge houses and perfect lived whine about how hard their lives are. EVERYONE HAS PROBLEMS PEOPLE AND TEN BILLION PEOPLE PROBABLY HAVE IT WORSE OFF THAN YOU!





And for anyone I happened to offend, I'm sorry. This is my opinion. I'm not forcing anything on you and any negative comments left on this post will be DELETED. I am not going to waste my time reading your rants about how you don't believe in God. Obviously I do, and I don't care what the angry people have to say. Anyone who took this post into consideration, thank you! :).
